Lucy Siegle reports on the rise of British textile manufacturing and the Make it British trade show
Today’s Observer magazine has a great article by Lucy Siegle about the rise of British clothing & textile manufacturing. Entitled ‘A Stitch in Time’ in the magazine, and re-titled to a more provocative ‘Britain’s Rag Trade Revival‘ in the online version, the feature talks about the Best of British collection by Marks & Spencer and visits some of the factories that the High Street store is making the clothes in. There are also some great images of the Best of British clothes shot in the Farago fabric mill in Leicester to accompany the article.
Included in the article is an interview with Kate Hills, founder of Make it British, and we are pleased to say that our trade show also gets a mention.
